WATCH: Montgomery County house fire causes around $30K in damage

SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — Officials said that a house fire in Montgomery County on Saturday caused around $30,000 in damage.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said in a post just before 9 a.m. that units were dispatched to a fire in the 2900 block of Beaverwood Lane near Bel Pre Road.

Person dies in four-vehicle Fort Washington crash, Route 210 closed

A two-story single-family house caught on fire. Fire officials said that it started as an external fire before spreading and was likely electrical in nature.

No injuries had been reported as of Saturday afternoon.
