It will air live on NBC and the NBC News Now platform. Following the broadcast, the full conversation and transcript will be available on NBCNews.com.

The new sit-down comes 10 days after Biden’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. The anchor then came under fire after TMZ obtained a video clip of Stephanopoulos, saying in regards to Biden’s reelection, “I don’t think he can serve four more years.”

Biden’s interview was initially supposed to take place in Austin, Texas, but was relocated to the White House after Saturday’s assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania campaign rally. The would-be assassin, identified by the FBI as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, left Trump with a bloody right ear before the Secret Service escorted him away. One spectator was killed during the shooting.

Following the assassination attempt, Trump released a statement on his social media platform Truth Social, writing, “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
