Former U.S. President Donald Trump stood before supporters in Palm Beach, Florida, early on Nov. 6, to give a victory speech after the 2024 presidential election.

Vice President Kalama Harris spoke at about 4 p.m. on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C., saying she conceded the election.

Trump addressed the crowd gathered at the Palm Beach County Convention Center at 2:30 a.m. Eastern time after winning three crucial swing states – North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

Harris did not make a speech during her election night party Tuesday night at Howard University, a historically Black college where she was an undergraduate.

As voting returns came in, it became clear early Wednesday morning Trump would ultimately win a second term in the White House.
