‘We all watched it vanish’: Dozens reportedly saw bizarre UFO at Red Rocks
DENVER (KDVR) — It was like any other night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre until a report said an odd object lit up the sky for 30 seconds before vanishing. It wasn’t an airplane or shooting star — dozens were certain it was a three-story-tall UFO.
Colorado has some of the most reported UFO sightings in the US
Based on a report from the National UFO Reporting Center, a user claiming to be an employee at Red Rocks said dozens of workers saw a UFO in the sky in mid-June.
‘Hey, what is that over there? It looks like a spaceship’
The report said the worker was at the amphitheater on June 5 at around 1 a.m. when a dozen people saw what looked to be a “large disc-shaped craft with three levels of windows.”
A coworker noticed it first and said to the group, “Hey, what is that over there? It looks like a spaceship,” according to the report.
The report said about a dozen others saw it hovering silently about half a mile north of Red Rocks. It looked to be a metallic aircraft several hundred feet long, with the report comparing it to a three-story office building.
However, once more people started to notice the UFO, the report said the craft tipped and faded away. It vanished into thin air.

This was not a plane. It wasn’t a satellite, a drone, or anything like that. There was no mistaking what this was: We all saw a giant disc shaped craft hovering a few hundred feet above the ground with three rows of windows and lights. Then we all saw it fade into nothing as soon as it knew it was being watched.”

The reporting center is a place for users to tell their mysterious stories and keep track of sightings while the center tries its best to corroborate the story. While there are no pictures to confirm and none of this report has been confirmed by any government agencies or the amphitheater, this isn’t the first report in Colorado.
The state actually has some of the most reported UFO sightings in the U.S., with reports ranging from a triangle object to a circle of lights. This Red Rocks report was among one of the more recent ones.
