Weather causes outages, waterspouts and flash flood warnings across region

PORSTMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Saturday’s weather caused quite the storm to come across the Hampton Roads area. Reports of outages, waterspouts and flash flood warnings impacted residents.

WAVY viewer Brian Rosetta sent in the following video of a waterspout in Chesapeake Bay.

Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake are all under flash flood warnings until 9 p.m. Meanwhile, many Norfolk residents are experiencing outages with more than 2,500 reported before 8 p.m.
