Well-known TikTok creator charged in shooting of woman in Flower Mound, police say

A well-known TikTok creator has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting of a woman early Friday in Flower Mound, police said.

Ladarius M. Brownlee, 28, of Northlake, is accused of shooting a 28-year-old woman.

Brownlee makes videos on TikTok under the names denoandzahra and denotatted and has more than 100,000 followers on social media.

Police received a call around 12:49 a.m. Friday about a shooting in the 1800 block of Flower Mound Road, according to the release. There, officers found the victim lying on the ground outside a stationary vehicle in westbound traffic lanes.

The woman was taken to Baylor Grapevine Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Brownlee was still on scene when officers arrived and has been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to police. Other charges are pending.

Police did not say what condition the woman is in now.
