Woman abandons dog in Westchester, caught on camera: SPCA
WESTCHESTER, N.Y. (PIX11) – A woman was caught abandoning a dog on the side of the road in Westchester County, and now the SPCA is soliciting help finding her.
In a video posted by SPCA Westchester, a woman can be seen stopping her car, letting out a small white dog, and driving away.

SPCA officials said the incident happened on June 11 around 12 p.m. in New Rochelle, and the dog is safe with the person who found it.
Now, the organization is looking for information on the woman who left the pup behind. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Humane Law Enforcement hotline at 914-941-7797.
SPCA enforcement has already performed a number of rescue missions in New York this year, including recovering 49 animals from brutal conditions in Ronkonkoma in April.
In March, a Long Island woman was charged with animal cruelty after allegedly leaving her dog out in a snowstorm, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.
