Woman charged with Walmart retail theft

EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is being charged for allegedly committing over $200 in retail theft at Walmart.

According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, on March 7 around 8:00 p.m., officers were called to Walmart in East Stroudsburg for a reported theft.

Police say a woman, later identified as Caitline Deibler, 27, was removing price tickets from numerous items and then hiding them. She tried to leave Walmart without paying but was stopped.

The total amount of attempted theft was worth $210.49. Deibler has been charged and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Anyone with information on Deibler’s whereabouts is asked to submit a tip on the Stroud Area Regional Police website.
