Woman taken to hospital after shooting near store in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a shooting around 7:30 p.m. at the Save More, 4670 Plank Road, on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
One woman hurt in the shooting was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to EMS.
According to BPRD, an argument took place inside and outside of the store. Police said the argument initially involved two women before a third person came to the scene and joined in the altercation.
Man charged after accidental shooting leaves one dead in Baton Rouge
The third person is accused of shooting the woman in the parking lot, BRPD said.
They said that an arrest has been made in this case.
