Yorktown man faces 9 possession of child pornography charges

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A York County man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

78-year-old Paul William Pyle, of Yorktown, was arrested and charged with nine felony counts of child pornography.

In May, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office began investigating an allegation of possession of child pornography by a York County resident. Investigators discovered videos on Pyle’s laptop computer that violate Virginia law with respect to possession of child pornography.

Pyle is currently being held in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
