Advocates for overseas voters harshly criticized President Donald Trump for arguing that some mail-in ballots shouldn’t be counted as he spread a conspiracy theory about Florida’s elections on Monday. In a tweet on Monday, Trump called for the state to stop counting ballots and stick with the results from Election Night, a move that while circumventing state law would also disenfranchise members of the military and civilians overseas, whose ballots can arrive until Nov. 16 and still be counted. “These overseas and military voters, the worst thing for them is to hear our country’s leaders saying don’t count these votes,” said Susan Dzieduszycka-Suinat, president and CEO of the U.S. Vote Foundation, a nonprofit that helps overseas voters cast their ballots.

Thousands of firefighters battled blazes in northern and southern California on Tuesday as body recovery teams searched the remains of houses and charred cars for victims of the deadliest wildfire in the history of the US state. Most of the fatalities have been caused by the so-called "Camp Fire" in and around the town of Paradise, population 26,000, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains about 80 miles (130 kilometers) north of the capital Sacramento. All six of those remains were located in Paradise, and they were located within homes," Sheriff Kory Honea told a news conference.
An image found by Off-Road.com on a public Ford website allegedly shows the upcoming 2020 Ford Bronco in full-except it's not really the Bronco. Announced earlier this year, the "baby Bronco" has yet to be named, but we know it will be sized like the next-gen Escape crossover and ride on the same unibody platform, but with much boxier, rugged styling.

New Yorkers, take note: While you commute in dilapidated and decaying subways, know that Jeff Bezos will be able to rely on a more upscale mode of transit to get to Amazon’s forthcoming New York City headquarters in Queens. Neither vitamin D nor fish oil lowered the odds of stroke or of getting cancer in the first place in the trial, whose participants did not know whether they were taking the real supplements or a dummy pill. The heart attack rate in fish oil recipients was 28 percent lower than among those who got the dummy pill, or placebo, and it was 77 percent lower among African American participants - although the lead author of the study told Reuters Health that this dramatic drop in risk among black participants needs to be confirmed. For people taking vitamin D who developed cancer, the death rate from cancer was 25 percent lower, possibly because the vitamin "may affect the biology of the tumor so it's less likely to spread and become metastatic," said lead author Dr. JoAnn Manson, chief of the division of preventive medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Some plan to travel far away, while others are determined to rebuild their lives here, but most of the survivors of the deadly fire that ravaged the California town of Paradise are still in shock. "For now, I'm so grateful to be here alive with my family," said Diane Mullin, who escaped the flames but couldn't hold back her tears. The so-called Camp Fire has now killed at least 42 people, making the deadliest wildfire in California history.
