Donald Trump openly mocked Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer over a plot foiled by federal authorities to kidnap her, saying it was “my people” that saved her. And we'll have to see if it's a problem, right? People are entitled to say, 'Maybe it was a problem, maybe it wasn't,'” he said during a cold and rainy Tuesday campaign stop in Lansing.
In fact, a USA TODAY investigation last winter into Reagan National had found no evidence of students or faculty at the college at all, even though the institution was approved to operate by an accrediting agency sanctioned by U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos. Colleges that fail to meet accrediting standards should not be approved to operate and receive federal money — and the government counts on accreditors to monitor schools and ensure compliance. But new emails and documents obtained by USA TODAY show the depth of ACICS' struggle to do so with Reagan National.

Other polls in recent weeks have also shown the former vice president pulling ahead in states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan - all of which were critical in Mr Trump's 2016 victory.

Xi has long wanted to absorb Taiwan under the Communist Party's rule—he's openly stated his ambition to “reunify” the democratic island with mainland China while he is the party's helmsman. And his strategy to dominate Taiwan includes more than gunboats, jets, and boots on the ground. For decades, party leadership in Beijing has leaned on what Xi calls his “magic weapon” to leverage trade relationships and shared ethnic roots to lay the groundwork for entrenched CCP influence in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Chinese diaspora abroad: wielding soft power through China's United Front Work Department.

She sought to shift the blame to Democrats, who she said tried to “put their own agendas ahead of the American people's well-being" and focused on a “sham impeachment” instead of the coronavirus.
“Many are longtime Republicans wrestling with what they see as a choice between two lousy candidates.”
“Some undecideds turn out to be people who’ve long felt alienated from the two big political parties.”
“They’re not following the 24-hour news cycle. The election and politics are just not a high priority.”
“One common trait: at this stage of the game, the undecided voter doesn’t fit into an easy political profile.”
“More realistically...these voters may not be motivated to vote at all in the 2020 election.”
