A scuba diving YouTuber may have cracked the cold case of two Tennessee teens who disappeared 21 years ago after discovering the car they were last seen in at the bottom of a local river. Erin Foster, 18, and Jeremy Bechtel, 17, vanished on April 3, 2000, after leaving Foster's home, according to the White County Sheriff's Office. A Las Vegas judge plans to issue a ruling Thursday on whether to limit medical information that prosecutors receive about former Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III following a fiery fatal crash, a court clerk said. Ruggs didn't have to appear in court Wednesday while his attorney, Richard Schonfeld, argued before Justice of the Peace Pro Tem Robert Walsh that although state law lets police and prosecutors obtain a report about his client's blood-alcohol level following the Nov. 2 crash, it doesn't let a judge compel first-responders to testify about his physical condition. Authorities have identified the victim of a murder-suicide that occurred on Thanksgiving Day. Mayra Uriarte, 36, was shot and killed by the father of her child, Hector Manuel Altamirano Martinez, 37, according to the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office. The suspect then turned the gun on himself.

The Navy SEAL who died Tuesday after being injured in a fast-rope training event last week has been identified as the commanding officer of SEAL Team 8, Cmdr. Brian Bourgeois. Naval Special Warfare Command has released few other details so far on what happened, but Bourgeois, 43, was injured during the training evolution Saturday in Virginia Beach, Virginia. SEAL Team 8′s executive officer has temporarily assumed command of the Virginia-based unit, according to the command, which did not identify the officer, citing operational security.
A white man has been charged with assault and he and his mother are accused of racially profiling after an interaction lead to an altercation with a Black man who was working at a Tennessee parking garage. Johnny Martinez, who identified himself as Black in the video he recorded of the encounter, was checking cars for parking permits in the River House apartment building's parking garage in Nashville for a booting company on the evening of Nov. 27, when he noticed Edward Brennan and his mother, Bitsy Brennan, keeping a closer-than-normal eye on him. Martinez exchanges more words with Bitsy, who notes that “this is a secure building,” and when he asks how she thinks he got in, he turns and Brennan can be seen trying to grab for Martinez's phone as his mother yells for him to stop.
