Donald Trump has given a wild interview to Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business, declaring, “Almost all countries in this world take tremendous advantage of the United States, it's unbelievable! The president claimed Japan would watch a Third World War “at home on a Sony TV” rather than come to America's aid (ahead of a trip there for the G20 summit), attacked Twitter, accused retired FBI special counsel Robert Mueller of deleting incriminating Justice Department text messages and said Iran “does not have smart leadership” and is “going down the tubes”.
A witness who dropped stunning testimony at the war crimes trial of a decorated Navy SEAL by telling the court he had killed an Islamic State captive in Iraq in 2017 — not his accused platoon chief — could now face charges of perjury, according to the Navy. The Navy's legal adviser to the commander overseeing the court-martial of Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher notified the witness's lawyer, Brian Ferguson, in an email late Tuesday that the testimony Corey Scott gave last week could be used against him if he lied on the stand or gave a false statement. Cmdr. Tam Lawrence, Naval Special Warfare spokesperson, said Scott was granted immunity in exchange for the promise of truthful testimony.
What is student debt? Going to university in the US is expensive – costing an average of over $34,000 a year in tuition and fees at private universities – which means for most Americans, the only way of viably pursuing higher education is to take out a student loan. An estimated 45 million Americans have student loans, contributing to an overall national student debt of $1.6tn.
In her campaign video, Gideon criticizes Collins's vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court as a threat to abortion rights. In October, Collins defended the judge against allegations of sexual misconduct in a 30-minute speech on the Senate floor. Susan Collins's vote to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court may be paying off for her, but it's put women's control over their own health care decisions in extreme jeopardy,” Gideon says in the video.

On Tuesday, NATO urged Russia to destroy a new missile to save a treaty that keeps land-based nuclear warheads out of Europe or face a more determined alliance response in the region.
US drones have been a key tool in conflicts against insurgent organizations such as the Taliban and the Islamic State group, but Iran's downing of one of the aircraft highlights their limitations against more sophisticated adversaries. "I believe sophisticated air defenses will continue to have good chances to shoot down an aircraft like an RQ-4 whenever it is in position to do meaningful surveillance of their territories or other assets," he said, referring to the type of drone brought down by Iran last week near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
It appears that the 2021 Ford Bronco will be powered by the turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four currently in use in the Ford Ranger. The listing was discovered in a parts-lookup configurator at Canadian Tire and was first reported by Off-Road.com. Aside from a few nonspecific leaks and a handful of camouflaged spy photos, Ford has done a commendable job of keeping a lid on the precise details pertaining to the new Ford Bronco.
Should an enemy submarine surface well beyond undersea or surface drone detection range and send intelligence to attack platforms - US Navy platforms could be vulnerable in some instances. Fortified by targeting data from well beyond the horizon, enemy subs, planes and ships might, in this case, be well-positioned for a coordinated strike. However, should an interwoven web of Navy surveillance assets track and share vital information, coordinated surface, air and undersea drones could sustain an unprecedented advantage -- and a new attack synergy could actually begin to transform maritime warfare.Enemy mines, surface ships, small boats and submarines might be detected more quickly, but, perh...
Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler and Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, both Democrats, announced the July 17 joint hearing on the eve of Wednesday's first Democratic presidential debate, where several of the candidates on the Miami stage are likely to remind viewers that they support an impeachment inquiry of the president. The chairmen said that Mueller, who issued his report in April, would appear in an open session and that he had agreed to the appearance under subpoenas. The session, sure to be televised live, sets up one of the most dramatic hearings of the Trump presidency -- and a confrontation between Democrats who have been pursuing investigations of the president since they took control of the House and Trump's Republican supporters who dismissed the inquiries as fishing expeditions.
The court ruled that the right of Andre Haymond to face a jury trial under the U.S. Constitution's Sixth Amendment was violated when a judge unilaterally imposed an additional prison sentence after Haymond violated the terms of his supervised release. Haymond originally was sentenced to just over three years in prison and 10 years of supervised release after being convicted by a jury in 2010 of possessing pornographic images involving children. After completing his sentence, Haymond was found in 2015 in possession of 59 additional images.
In what amounted to a face-off at the U.N's top human rights body, Ambassador Abdulaziz Alwasil insisted that special rapporteur Agnes Callamard had failed to follow proper procedures and used flawed sourcing in her 101-page report made public last week. "Accusations have been launched, and fingers have been pointed — (she is) supporting herself on non-credible articles or sources," he told the Human Rights Council, in Arabic through a U.N. interpreter. The report by Callamard, an independent expert on extrajudicial and arbitrary killings, alleged that Saudi Arabia bears responsibility for The Washington Post columnist's grisly apparent dismemberment by Saudi agents at the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul in October.

It's time for your oven to take a vacation. From Delish
Spend a few days anywhere in Mexico — even in a trendy tourist destination — and you'll understand why some Mexicans don't want the Central American migrants, either. You'd think the Mexicans, whose compatriots have been migrating to the United States for generations, would appreciate the predicament of the thousands of Central Americans passing through Mexico trying to reach U.S. soil. The sentiment was unmistakable from everyone I casually asked during my seven-day trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: We need to take care of our own first.
Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said Tuesday that new US sanctions against senior Iranian officials including top diplomat Mohammad Javad Zarif showed Washington is "lying" about an offer to negotiate. "At the same time as you call for negotiations you seek to sanction the foreign minister? It's obvious that you're lying," Rouhani said in a meeting with ministers broadcast live on TV.
Few cars, modern or from any time period, can match the pure attitude of this 2018 Dodge Demon. While the pictures certainly make it apparent this is no regular Dodge Challenger, to see one in person you get the full effect. You have Petty's Garage to thank for the opportunity to own this car.
Verizon's network works with Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G the LG V50 ThinQ and Motorola's Moto Z3 and Z4, which can be made 5G-compatible with a $200 attachment. But those all amount to small first steps—with many more to follow. All four of the major telecommunications carriers say they'll have 5G networks up and running sometime this year, but only in select parts of a few big cities.
The United Arab Emirates appeared to distance itself from U.S. claims that pinned attacks on oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz on Iran. Honestly we can't point the blame at any country because we don't have evidence,” Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Wednesday in Moscow. If there is a country that has the evidence, then I'm convinced that the international community will listen to it.

Speaking with Reuters from her home in the central municipality of San Martin, Rosa Ramirez, Oscar's mother, cradled two of her granddaughter's most treasured toys, a blue-eyed baby doll and a stuffed purple monkey.
FedEx Corp. posted weak quarterly results in its core express business and warned Tuesday that its profit in the year ahead will be hurt by slowing growth in the world economy and the decision to drop a contract with retail giant Amazon. It would offer loan forgiveness no matter how much people earn or how much debt they have. Put another way: His plan would forgive the big college and graduate-school debts of high-earning professionals such as doctors and lawyers. Sanders' plan would make those people wealthy, fast.
John Dale Grover Iran, Middle East Kenneth Pollack and Paul Pillar discuss Iran and the Trump administration strategy at a CFTNI event. America's policy of maximum pressure on Iran continues, with the U.S. Department of the Treasury announcing new sanctions on eight Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Commanders. That directive was tweeted during a luncheon event on Iran at the Center for the National Interest, which was moderated by Geoffrey Kemp, the Senior Director of Regional Security Programs at CFTNI who also served in the White House during the first Reagan administration as Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and Senior Director for Near East and So...
To the 8271 Americans who bought a BMW 7-series last year: You're being blamed for this, but it's not really your fault. BMW says that the massive grille on the 2020 7er is a response to customer demand from the car's two largest markets. Which is how the grille on the new 7-series came to be 40 percent larger than the same feature on its predecessor.
