The family of former Vancouver cop Nicole Chan, the officer who died by suicide after being blackmailed into an inappropriate intimate relationship with her superiors, filed a lawsuit against the city and its police department. MOSCOW (Reuters) -Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Saturday Ukraine had tried to strike military facilities on Belarusian territory three days ago, but all its missiles had been intercepted, the state-run Belta news agency reported. Lukashenko, who did not provide evidence for the claim, said Belarus did not want war with Ukraine, but would fight if its own territory was invaded. Lukashenko said there were no troops from Belarus fighting in what Moscow calls its "special military operation" in Ukraine.
Kimberly Neptune, 43, was found murdered in her home in Perry — 100 miles east of Bangor on the Canadian border — on April 21, the Maine State Police said previously in a press release. Surveillance footage at Neptune's apartment building captured a woman leaving the home. Investigators believe that woman is Kailie A. Brackett, 38.
