Lincoln Project targets 3 deep red states with million-dollar ad buy as election map ‘turning against’ Trump

With just three days left until the election, President Trump's enemies are seeing new opportunities in staunchly red states. The Lincoln Project, a conservative-led political action committee dedicated to eroding President Trump's support among Republicans, announced on Saturday that it is buying over $1 million of ads in Georgia, Montana and South Carolina in the final days of the presidential race. Ron Steslow, a veteran GOP consultant and Lincoln Project co-founder, said the fact that these states could go against Trump shows “just how badly the president is doing all over the country.”

"Someone's reading our texts": Tucker Carlson, UPS and the non-stolen Biden documents

Fox News personality Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson is being widely mocked after regaling viewers of his top-rated cable news program on Wednesday with a bizarre, evidence-free tale of deep state-style espionage directed against him by unknown forces who allegedly stole a sheaf of top-secret documents with "damning" information about the Biden family, as it was in transit to him via UPS. Carlson can now rest assured: On Thursday morning a UPS spokesperson reported that the company had found the missing contents. "After an extensive search, we have found the contents of the package and are arranging for its return," the spokesperson said by email.

US election: Don Jr told Trump supporters to ‘have some fun’ before Biden vehicles ‘rammed by armed group’

A Biden campaign event was cancelled in Texas on Friday after reportedly coming under threat from armed Trump supporters, days after the president's eldest son called on his father's supporters to “get out there, have some fun”. Don Jr posted a video earlier this week ahead of Democratic VP candidate, Kamala Harris, holding an event in Texas and urged his father's supporters to show up. He said: “It'd be great if you guys would all get together, head down to McAllen and give Kamala Harris a nice Trump Train welcome.

Trump says Biden will take away your electricity, celebrates low Black voter turnout in Wisconsin rally

President Trump made another visit to the swing state of Wisconsin on Friday evening, bringing some unfounded theories and repetitive rants along with him. For starters, Trump celebrated reports that Democratic nominee Joe Biden wasn't driving Black voter turnout, framing it in a way that made it seem like he was happy about the disenfranchisement. "The Black vote is not turning out for him," Trump said of Biden.

For some abroad, four more years of Trump sounds pretty good

Christopher Alva, who organized the Mexico City meeting, was hoping to persuade people to urge their relatives in the United States to vote for Mr. Trump because he's supported so many Mexican Americans during the pandemic in the U.S. And because “he brings strong values, a lot of discipline to his leadership,” Mr. Alva says. He's really decisive in his actions. And he's been good for Mexico, argues Hernan Dominguez Juarez, a former state-level teachers union organizer.

On Wednesday, Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) officials were able to cut down and remove the entire tree that once held the first known Asian giant hornet nest. WSDA said it is unclear whether both are virgin queens or if one is a virgin queen and one is the old queen, which started the nest.

The committee's director Kevin McLaughlin, per the Post, explained last week that Trump is "losing Arizona" where "we think that he and [Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.)] are very intrinsically tied together." With Trump down, McSally's Democratic challenger, Mark Kelly, is viewed by both sides as the favorite to take the seat.

Actress Lori Loughlin starts prison term for role in college admissions scandal

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Full House" actress Lori Loughlin began a two-month prison sentence for her role in a vast college admissions fraud scheme to help her daughters gain entry into a top U.S. university, a prison official said on Friday. After initially fighting the charges, Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. Prosecutors said Loughlin and Giannulli paid $500,000 in bribes to secure spots for their daughters at the University of Southern California (USC) as fake athletic recruits for the school's crew team even though neither rowed competitively.
