US Attorney General Bill Barr said Thursday that President Donald Trump took no action to thwart the special counsel's probe into Russian election interference, ahead of the long-awaited release of the final investigation report. The politically charged case over whether or not Trump's campaign team colluded with Moscow -- and whether the president sought to derail that probe -- has captivated Washington for the better part of two years. Special Counsel Robert Mueller, a former director of the FBI, was appointed to investigate the extent of Russian efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential election and tilt it in Trump's favor.
An 18-year-old Florida woman infatuated with the Columbine massacre was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Colorado on Wednesday after she touched off an extensive manhunt by making a "pilgrimage" to the state days before the 20th anniversary of the 1999 school shooting. The body of Sol Pais, a student from Surfside, Florida, was found by authorities about 40 miles (64 km) west of Columbine High School, at about 10:30 a.m. local time, said Dean Phillips, special agent in charge of the Denver office of the FBI.

Water is pooled on the floor, and votive candles and statues remain in place, many with minimal, if any, damage. The cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century, caught fire Monday afternoon.
Zelenskiy added that he would appeal to people living in the mostly Russian-speaking eastern Ukraine to dispel their negative view of NATO. "I will record daily video appeals to the eastern regions of Ukraine to tell them that NATO isn't a beast that is going to swallow you," he said. Poroshenko has pushed for Ukraine's membership in NATO and the European Union, though neither alliance is willing to put the country on a track to membership any time soon because of its economic woes, rampant corruption and the five-year conflict with Russia-backed separatist in eastern Ukraine.

Apple's automotive initiative, unofficially dubbed Project Titan, appears to still be alive and kicking. What's more, the report relays that Apple, in addition to exploring third-party solutions, also has a team of engineers working on developing an Apple-branded lidar sensor. While it remains to be seen if anything comes of Apple's exploration, the larger point here is that Apple still has grand ambitions in the automotive space.
The building itself also contained one of America's largest Porsche collections according to the Charlotte Observer. The rather unassuming red brick building didn't boast about the treasures within, but video from the Charlotte Observer revealed a huge hole in the roof and the charred remains of what appears to be a 550 Spyder amongst other less identifiable wreckage. Bob Ingram, a retired pharmaceuticals executive, and his wife reportedly started the collection in 1998 after a visit to the Monterey Historic Automobile Races.

There have been 329 confirmed cases of the viral illness, mostly among observant Jews in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Robert Mueller delivered an exhaustive account of President Donald Trump's efforts to head off or undermine the special counsel's Russia probe, all but inviting Congress to take action on at least 10 instances of potential obstruction of justice. I'm F---ed': Trump Called Mueller Appointment the 'End of My Presidency'] While Mueller didn't find an “underlying crime” by Trump related to Russian interference in the 2016 election, he said acts of possible obstruction include “disco...
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw the testing of a new type of tactical guided weapon on Wednesday, state media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Thursday. It is North Korea's first public weapons test since the second U.S.-North Korea summit in Hanoi ended with no agreement in February. KCNA did not describe exactly what the weapon is, including whether it was a missile or another type of weapon, but "tactical" implies a short-range weapon, as opposed to the long-range ballistic missiles that have been seen as a threat to the United States.
