A man described as a “person of interest” in the killing and dismemberment of four men in eastern Oklahoma admitted to a woman that he killed the men and “cut them up,” according to a prosecutor's affidavit. Authorities believe 67-year-old Joseph Kennedy shot and killed the four men on Oct. 9 at Kennedy's scrap yard, according to the affidavit unsealed Thursday and signed by Assistant District Attorney Carman Rainbolt. Kennedy told a woman in Gore, Oklahoma, that he killed and dismembered the four men because they were stealing from him, according to the affidavit, which was filed by prosecutors who were seeking to increase Kennedy's bond.

An elderly Home Depot employee who was assaulted in October by a man fleeing with stolen merchandise has died, according to the Hillsborough Police Department. Gary Rasor, 83, died on Dec. 1 from complications from injuries he suffered in the attack. In surveillance footage released by police, the suspect was seen fleeing the Home Depot at 625 Hampton Pointe with a shopping cart filled with three stolen pressure washers.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on a murder charge in the shooting of rapper Takeoff, who police on Friday said was an “innocent bystander” when he was struck by gunfire outside a Houston bowling alley. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office told WJBF investigators responded to a home on Nellie Drive on Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. after they received reports of a victim of false imprisonment. Authorities told WJBF that a witness had seen the woman locked in a dog cage inside 32-year-old Shawna Sue Powell's home while he was there to pick up some of his belongings. According to WJBF, the witness told deputies that he knew two people inside the home were armed and that when he first arrived, one of the men pointed a gun at him due to not knowing who he was.
