A woman who shared a kiss with a prisoner during a visitation in Tennessee has been charged with murder after the inmate died shortly after their exchange. Rachel Dollard was taken into custody over the weekend by special agents from the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) and the Dickson County Sheriff's Department, the TDOC confirmed in a statement on Tuesday. Dollard is facing charges of second-degree murder and introduction of contraband into a penal facility and is currently being held in the Hickman County jail, the TDOC said.

One person who goes by the name Silver Steele on social media posted a photo timeline on Instagram of how their monkeypox lesions progressed over three weeks, which has since gone viral. The Houston, Texas, resident became infected with monkeypox in July, according to Instagram.

A once-prominent neurologist convicted last month of sexually abusing patients killed himself Monday at a New York City jail, two people familiar with the matter said. A snake researcher documenting a venomous cottonmouth turf war in North Carolina saw the tense fight turn goofy when a self-absorbed raccoon wandered into the water.
