Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday that members of his country’s intelligence community had listened to Turkish audio recordings of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Trudeau’s comments, made in Paris during a peace forum to honor the anniversary of World War I, were the first acknowledgment by the leader of a Western country of receiving the intelligence from Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan. “Canada has been fully briefed up on what Turkey had to share,” Trudeau said.

Jerome Corsi, a right-wing commentator who has promoted political conspiracy theories, told Reuters on Tuesday that his lawyer was told by the office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller last week that their next discussion, possibly on Tuesday, would be "about pleas." "So by pleas I assumed their plan was to indict me," Corsi said in a telephone interview, adding he was not given any information about the likely basis for any charge against him. David Gray, Corsi's attorney, also declined to comment. Corsi's remarks come a day after he grabbed headlines with a livestream posted to YouTube, in which he said he expected to be criminally charged after two months of cooperation with Mueller's probe.
An image found by Off-Road.com on a public Ford website allegedly shows the upcoming 2020 Ford Bronco in full-except it's not really the Bronco. This photo, taken at Ford's dealer meeting in Las Vegas last month, actually shows the "baby Bronco" crossover that is due to arrive soon. Announced earlier this year, the "baby Bronco" has yet to be named, but we know it will be sized like the next-gen Escape crossover and ride on the same unibody platform, but with much boxier, rugged styling.

The intensified effort to locate victims came on the sixth day of a blaze that incinerated over 7,000 homes and other buildings, including most of the town of Paradise in the Sierra foothills of rural Butte County about 175 miles (280 km) north of San Francisco. County Sheriff Kory Honea said 228 people were listed as missing, and his office also was conducting "well-being checks" on nearly 1,300 individuals whose loved ones had reported concern for their whereabouts. By Tuesday, the killer blaze dubbed the Camp Fire had blackened 125,000 acres (50,500 hectares) of drought-parched scrub and brush, up 8,000 acres from the night before, but crews had carved containment lines around nearly a third of the fire's expanding perimeter.

President Donald Trump plans to fire Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen in the coming weeks in what would be the latest major shakeup in the White House following last week’s midterm elections, according to a report Monday in The Washington Post. The president has grown frustrated with Nielsen’s action on immigration since she assumed her post last December, the Post, citing five current and former officials, said. Homeland Security has been embroiled in several high-profile conflicts this year, including the Trump administration’s much-criticized decision to separate migrant families at the border and place young children in immigrant detention centers.

The tweets were sent just hours after the Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon plans to open two new east coast locations, one in in Crystal City, Va. and another Long Island City, creating a total 25,000 jobs in the process.
For months, the struggle to work out a temporary fix for the Irish border stood in the way of a Brexit deal. Now, it turns out the solution looks neither temporary nor solely for the Irish border. As the agreement gets picked over by Theresa May’s Cabinet, it will become clear that in signing up to the so-called backstop to avoid a hard border on the island of Ireland, the U.K. may be committing itself to something more permanent.

All six of those remains were located in Paradise, and they were located within homes," Sheriff Kory Honea told a news conference.
