WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump announced new sanctions against Iran on Monday that he said would deny the regime's leaders access to financial instruments. "Today's action follows a series of aggressive behaviors by the Iranian regime in recent weeks, including shooting down of U.S. drones," Trump said at the White House before signing an executive order to implement the penalties. Trump said the order would deny Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and "those closely affiliated with him" access to certain financial resources.

The proposal builds on Sanders' longstanding call to make public universities and colleges tuition-free, an issue he has highlighted since his first presidential run in 2016.

A new tanker, which will of course modernize and sustain the refueling mission for the Air Force, is fundamental to the service's air superiority and rapid deployability priorities. The new KC-46A tanker will build upon the mission current tankers currently serve, meaning it will be forward- stationed at strategically vital locations around the globe to increase mission length and effectiveness, as needed, for a wide-range of aircraft, Air Force developers said. Extending the strike range of attack aircraft such as an F-15, F-35 or F-22 brings great tactical significance in a modern threat environment wherein long range strike weapons used by potential adversaries could make it challenging for the Air Force to base and launch fighters within the proper striking proximity.

In a 6-3 ruling decided Monday, the Supreme Court struck down the Patent and Trademark Office's (PTO) ban on “immoral” or “scandalous” trademarks, calling it a violation of free speech. “The most fundamental principle of free speech law is that the government can't penalize or disfavor or discriminate against expressions based on the ideas or viewpoints it conveys,” Justice Elena Kagan said, according to SCOTUS Blog, while delivering the court's majority opinion. The PTO's ban fell under the Lanham Act, also known as the Trademark Act, which was established in 1946. “There are a great many immoral and scandalous ideas in the world (even more than there are swearwords), and the Lanham Act covers them all,” Kagan wrote in the court's opinion.
