Myanmar's military has entered a small town in western Chin state which took up arms against them three weeks ago. Police finally found the missing tiger that terrified Houston residents for a week. The tiger had mostly been staying with the wife of its owner, who was arrested May 10. A suspected white supremacist is facing charges after allegedly ditching a bullet-riddled car containing three dead men in the parking lot of an Albuquerque hospital this week. Richard Kuykendall, a 41-year-old with an “apparent association” with the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang, was charged Friday with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition for his role in the Wednesday triple homicide, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for New Mexico. Prosecutors allege that after a deadly shootout in a nearby alley, Kuykendall drove to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital with the victims, removed his shirt and told a security officer “that there were three dead guys in the Chevy” before he walked away.

A suspect is in custody after a 4-year-old boy was found slain in the middle of a Dallas street early Saturday with “multiple wounds” from what police believe was some kind of edged weapon. The Dallas Police Department confirmed the arrest of an adult male late Saturday, but stopped short of identifying the suspect and gave no further details on the brutal killing of the tot. Alireza Fazeli Monfared, a 20-year old Iranian man, was beheaded in an "honor killing" by family members after they learned that he was gay, according to an Iranian human rights group. Monfared was murdered on May 4 - just a few days after his half-brother learned about his sexuality, the Iranian LGBTQ network 6Rang told Insider after conversations with Monfared's mother and close friend. He was seeking a permanent exemption from Iran's compulsory military service so that he could claim asylum elsewhere, Monfared said in several audio messages.

An orphaned black bear which was injured during a Colorado wildfire has been released back into the wild after officials worked for five months to nurse the animal back to health. The young bear was injured during the 2020 Cameron Peak Fire, which became the largest recorded wildfire in Colorado's history after 62 days of burning. Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) officials worked to treat and rehabilitate the animal for several months after the cub was found.
The California crash is under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The driver of a Tesla Model 3 car, who was killed in a crash on a California highway, posted social media videos of himself riding without his hands on the wheel or foot on the pedal, AP reported. The May 5 incident involved a 35-year-old man identified as Steven Michael Hendrickson, who died when his Tesla ran into an overturned truck on the freeway.
