American logistics giant FedEx sued the US government on Monday, saying Washington's restrictions on exports and imports due to growing trade disputes and sanctions created an "impossible burden" for delivery firms. The US has also sought to bar Chinese telecom giant Huawei from the American market and limit its ability to purchase US technology. A statement by the delivery firm said the restrictions placed "an unreasonable burden on FedEx to police the millions of shipments that transit our network every day" or face heavy fines.
In her campaign video, Gideon criticizes Collins's vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court as a threat to abortion rights. In October, Collins defended the judge against allegations of sexual misconduct in a 30-minute speech on the Senate floor. Susan Collins's vote to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court may be paying off for her, but it's put women's control over their own health care decisions in extreme jeopardy,” Gideon says in the video.

The Hugger Orange paint code is GMs version of the classic racing orange found on the Z28s, Corvettes and several other '60s and '70s classic muscle cars. Apart from its desirable color, this 1969 Chevy Camaro SS is a prized possession in and of itself.

A new tanker, which will of course modernize and sustain the refueling mission for the Air Force, is fundamental to the service's air superiority and rapid deployability priorities. The new KC-46A tanker will build upon the mission current tankers currently serve, meaning it will be forward- stationed at strategically vital locations around the globe to increase mission length and effectiveness, as needed, for a wide-range of aircraft, Air Force developers said. Extending the strike range of attack aircraft such as an F-15, F-35 or F-22 brings great tactical significance in a modern threat environment wherein long range strike weapons used by potential adversaries could make it challenging for the Air Force to base and launch fighters within the proper striking proximity.
Britain does not expect the United States to request that the United Kingdom joins a war with Iran and London would be unlikely to agree to join such a conflict, Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said on Tuesday. "The U.S. is our closest ally, we talk to them the whole time, we consider any requests that they say carefully, but I cannot envisage any situation where they request or we agree to any moves to go to war," Hunt told parliament. The message we are sending with our partners in the European Union particularly the French and the Germans is that with respect to Iran's nuclear programme, this is a crucial week.
About 10 protesters have demonstrated in a parking lot at a Border Patrol station in El Paso, Texas, decrying the treatment of child migrants. Diego Carlos teaches social studies at an El Paso high school and joined the protest after he read a news article on the child migrants' plight. Two officials familiar with the move say the acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will take over U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The United Arab Emirates appeared to distance itself from U.S. claims that pinned attacks on oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz on Iran. Honestly we can't point the blame at any country because we don't have evidence,” Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Wednesday in Moscow. If there is a country that has the evidence, then I'm convinced that the international community will listen to it.
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Panama-Costa Rica border around midnight on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said, with the potential to cause casualties and "significant damage". The shallow quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles), about two kilometers from the nearest town of Progreso in Panama, USGS said. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, but US seismologists said the disaster was "potentially widespread," with the USGS website pointing out that "past events with this alert level have required a regional or national level response."

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday mocked President Donald Trump's decision to impose "outrageous and idiotic" new sanctions, saying the effort to target top Iranian authorities reflects confusion at the White House. Rouhani noted that Western banking restrictions are unlikely to affect Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, saying the 80-year-old leader of the Islamic Revolution isn't getting rich off Western bank accounts. Imposing sanctions on Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif doesn't equate with Trump's stated willingness to negotiate without preconditions, Rouhani said.

There will be several high-profile flagship smartphone launches between now and early September, but Apple's upcoming new iPhone 11 is already stealing the spotlight. The recent oil tanker attacks in the Gulf of Oman reinforce the need to reestablish a highly visible U.S. naval deterrent in the Middle East. For eight months last year, no aircraft carrier strike group plied the region, the longest such interruption this millennium. With the United States needing a more robust posture against Iran and confronting renewed challenges in Asia and Europe, several immediate measures and concerted longer-term efforts are critical to ensure America has the carriers it needs.
Joe Biden's all-too-friendly touching of women in the MeToo era was supposed to be toxic to his presidential campaign. Critics thought his flip flop on subsidized abortions would show how deeply out of touch he was with the modern Democratic Party. The latest controversy buffeting his campaign — his statements about his working relationships with Dixiecrat segregationists when they served in the U.S. Senate together more than 40 years ago — has chewed through news cycles for the past week.
Slowing global economic growth and demand concerns have WTI crude oil prices down more than 20% from a year ago. Oil investors were hoping for much higher prices in 2019 than the mid $50s per barrel, and the energy sector has once again lagged the market significantly this year. Bank of America analyst Doug Leggate recently lowered his oil price forecast for the second half of 2019 from $68 per barrel to $63, but Leggate says there are still plenty of value opportunities among oil stocks today.

Why people are going to WorldPride The Stonewall riots — an incident that became a rallying cry for the nascent gay rights movement — were demonstrations that followed a police raid on the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York's Greenwich Village, on June 28, 1969.
