An 18-year-old who was shot Saturday at Nockamixon State Park died from his injuries, according to authorities. Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said Jason Kutt died after he was shot at the park about 5:15 p.m. Saturday. Kutt was sitting with his girlfriend near the lake when he was shot in the back of his neck, he said.

Since first-class mail has been taking an average of 10 days to be delivered in the state, Wisconsin's Democratic Party urged mail-in Democrats to hand-deliver their absentee ballots or vote in person. The practical issue involves what happens with Wisconsin's 700,000 outstanding absentee ballots.
Law enforcement agencies across Ohio cooperated in a monthlong investigation, dubbed Operation Autumn Hope, that led to 179 arrests and the recovery of 45 missing children. In all, 109 human trafficking victims were rescued and referred to social services, the Ohio Attorney General's Office reported. More than 50 agencies participated in the operation, which also included the arrest of a man and the recovery of two children in West Virginia.

The survey, which was conducted from Oct. 23 to 25, found that 54 percent of likely voters have either already voted for Biden or plan to vote for him by Election Day. In comparison, a YouGov poll conducted one week before the 2016 election showed Clinton leading Trump by 3 percentage points among likely voters, 48 percent to 45 percent; at that stage, the average of all national surveys gave Clinton a lead of 2.2 percentage points.
Jennifer Parson, a teacher's assistant and mother from Arizona, recently went viral on TikTok after sharing her unique experience as a gestational surrogate. A man died after Las Vegas police said he hung out of a car and struck a bicyclist, killing her. On Sunday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of two people who had been hit by a car, according to a news release. The man was the passenger in a car driven by 22-year-old Rodrigo Cruz, police said, and he leaned out of the window, pushing a female bicyclist to the ground.
