Aug. 6—Barley Snyder

Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank has elected firm Partner Timothy G. Dietrich to serve on its board of directors. Founded in 1983, the food bank serves communities in Berks and Schuylkill counties with a mission to feed the hungry. The organization is a member of Feeding America and has been deemed a Four-Star Charity.

Dietrich is a member of the firm's Business, Real Estate and Creditors' Rights practice groups in addition to several other groups. He provides strategic advice for businesses, financial institutions and governments in a number of areas. Dietrich also leads Barley Snyder's Food & Agribusiness Industry Group. He utilizes his knowledge of FDA, USDA and other regulatory requirements to assist clients in the food and agriculture areas with their transactional needs as well as compliance with the more rigorous requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act. Dietrich is a former managing partner of Barley Snyder.

Aside from his new role with Helping Harvest, Dietrich serves as the director of the National Food Lab Inc., and is legal counsel for the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance and the Berks County Chamber Foundation. He formerly served on the board of directors of the United Way of Berks County, The Highlands at Wyomissing, Alvernia University and several other local organizations.

Helping Harvest sources food through partnerships with Feeding America, government agencies, local retailers, food manufacturers and farms in addition to receiving local donations, according to its website. Food is delivered to its 51,000-square-foot warehouse facility where it is stored, packed and distributed to more than 320 programs, which in turn, feed more than 110,000 people in need each year.

Lifetime Financial Services

Grandview Financial Partners of Wyomissing has been acquired by Lifetime Financial Services. Three members of the firm — Steven H. Reiter, Jodi L. Bukowski, and Steven T. Hofman — have joined Lifetime Financial Services.

Steven H. Reiter joins the firm as managing partner, where he oversees day-to-day operations of Lifetime Financial Services and has supervisory responsibility for the team of financial advisors. Reiter also provides financial advice to high net worth individuals and business owners. He previously served as sole practitioner/owner of Grandview Financial Partners. Reiter earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Northern Colorado

Jodi L. Bukowski joins the firm as a wealth manager, where she works with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Previously, she was a principal at Grandview Financial Partners. Bukowski earned her Bachelor of Arts from Alvernia University in Reading and her MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Steven T. Hofmann joins the firm as a wealth advisor, where he works with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Previously, he was a principal at Grandview Financial Partners. Hoffman earned his Bachelor of Science from American University in Washington, DC.

Saxton & Stump

Saxton & Stump's Insurance Group has added senior counsel Seth Mendelsohn, who is a former deputy commissioner with the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance. Mendelsohn worked with the department from 2015 to 2019, establishing an extensive network of insurance professionals and overseeing more than 200 professionals and a $35 million annual budget. He also directly managed his department's Bureau of Property and Casualty Insurance and its Bureau of Life, Accident and Health Insurance.

He then moved on to become the executive director of the Pennsylvania Utility Commission joining Saxton & Stump in 2013. Adding Mendelsohn will allow the group to work with insurance companies to handle state and federal regulation, compliance and licensure.

Attorneys in the Insurance Group regularly counsel clients in a multitude of industries on questions of insurance coverage and litigate these matters in state and federal court. Attorneys in the group have extensive experience counseling clients on an array of coverage issues spanning virtually all lines of commercial and professional lines of insurance. The group works with businesses in all industries, including construction, healthcare, real estate, trucking and transportation.

Lee & Associates

Dwight Hotchkiss, SIOR has been hired by Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania as its new executive managing director and chief operating officer. Formerly president of the Lee & Associates offices in Riverside and Temecula, Calif., he brings more than 33 years of diversified commercial real estate and brokerage experience to this leadership role.

In his new position, Hotchkiss manages the day-to-day operations and activities of the more than 40 employees, including nearly 30 full-time commercial real estate brokerage professionals working in the Lee & Associates offices in suburban Philadelphia and greater Harrisburg, as well as the recently-opened Pittsburgh location. His responsibilities include driving revenue by scaling brokerage talent, accelerating the growth of associate brokers through focused training and mentorship and implementing business planning and execution with the entire team of brokerage professionals.

While president of Lee & Associates of Riverside and Temecula for five years, his initiatives helped drive revenue growth by more than 200% to record levels.

Hotckhiss earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and is a member of SIOR and NAIOP. He has served as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Albert & Elaine Borchard Foundation, and the Thrive in Joy Nick Fagnano Foundation.
