Jul. 16—Hawk Mountain Council Boy Scouts of America

The Hawk Mountain Council Boy Scouts of America has named Davis Fox as its new Scout Executive effective Aug. 1.

Fox began his Scouting career in 2007 as a district executive at the Denver Area Council in Denver, Colo. He moved on to become the field director at the South Plains Council in Lubbock, Texas; membership director at the Capitol Area Council in Austin, Texas; and director of field service at the Grand Canyon Council in Phoenix, Ariz.

Fox is an Eagle Scout and long-time camp staff member who enjoys outdoor adventures, motorcycles, and craft beer.

Reading and Northern Railroad

Reading and Northern Railroad (RBMN) announces the appointment of Michael Sharadin has been named vice president — coal sourcing for Reading and Northern Railroad. Sharadin reports to Wayne Michel, RBMN president.

Sharadin rejoins the Reading and Northern from Amazon Transportation, which he joined as an area manager in late 2020. During his time at Amazon, Sharadin managed the transportation department at two fulfillment centers in the Lehigh Valley. Prior to Amazon, Sharadin spent more than 20 years at the Reading and Northern working in various departments within the company. A large portion of his time at the Reading and Northern was working within the coal department, giving him a good perspective of the business.

Sharadin graduated from Muhlenberg College and has a B.A. in business administration. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Kutztown.

Reading & Northern Railroad, with its corporate headquarters in Port Clinton, is a privately held railroad company serving more than 70 customers in nine eastern Pennsylvania counties (Berks, Bradford, Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northumberland, Schuylkill, and Wyoming).

Alta Smiles

Dr. Chris Zeledon, DMD, has joined orthodontic care company Alta Smiles, at Bear Valley Dental, as its newest C5 Hidden Orthodontics certified provider.

Zeledon is a 2015 graduate of Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. During his dental training, Zeledon was able to take advantage of various outreach opportunities to help serve underprivileged communities throughout the Philadelphia area. Zeledon and Bear Valley Dental is the first C5 certified provider in Boyertown.

Barley Snyder

Barley Snyder Partner Kevin A. Moore has been named to Lehigh Valley Business's Law Power List. The list, determined by the publication's editorial board, recognizes the region's most significant, influential and esteemed leaders, as well as behind-the-scenes changemakers in their respective fields. The selected honorees demonstrate impactful leadership and continuously help improve the life of the community.

Moore is an attorney in Barley Snyder's Employment and Litigation practice groups and chairs the firm's Labor Law Practice Team focused on helping employers navigate the unique legal landscape when dealing with labor unions. He assists clients with challenges in employment and labor law and leads trial teams for businesses in litigation. He also lectures to businesses and attorneys on all areas of employment, labor and commercial, and construction litigation. Moore serves the judiciary in several roles, as a federal court Arbitrator, and a state court Arbitrator and Discovery Master.

Outside of the firm, Moore holds leadership positions on the Berks Catholic High School board of directors as vice chairman and his church parish council as secretary. He is also an age-group triathlete who mentors beginner triathletes and adaptive athletes through the IM ABLE Foundation.

Barley Snyder

Barley Snyder attorney Tasha Stoltzfus Nankerville has been named to the board of directors of Advoz.

Since 2017, the non-profit organization has provided conflict mediation for families, neighbors and businesses, restorative justice dialogue for youthful offenders and those they harm, and conflict skills training for people of all ages throughout Lancaster County. Nankerville volunteered with Advoz for four years before becoming a board member, and she continues to actively volunteer as a restorative justice facilitator.

Nankerville is a member of the Barley Snyder's Litigation and Health Care groups with strong advocacy, problem-solving and leadership skills. She concentrates her practice on civil litigation and medical malpractice. She continues a longtime firm tradition of former Barley Snyder summer associates returning to the firm.

Before joining Barley Snyder, Nankerville worked as an intern with the Lancaster County District Attorney's office and Villanova Law's Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE Institute). She has volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations including Lancaster County Conservancy, Night to Shine, Church World Services and the American Heart Association.
