Next Gen Camps brings local football legends to Arlin Field

MANSFIELD — Next Gen Camps is excited to announce a return to Arlin Field for the Next Gen Mansfield Youth Football Camp.

The camp will feature college football stars and local legends: Cade Stover, Emeka Egbuka, Tommy Eichenberg, Steele Chambers, Dallan Hayden (Ohio State), Angelo Grose (Michigan State) and Keontez Bradley (Arizona State). Brennan Armstrong (Shelby graduate and current NC State Quarterback) and Tyrell Ajian (Madison high school graduate/University of Kentucky graduate and 2023 NFL Draft Prospect) both hope to be featured instructors for the camp depending on their football schedules. Campers ages 6-18 are welcome!

Cade Stover and Emeka Egbuka highlight the featured instructors. Cade Stover, Lexington graduate, is coming off a breakout for the Buckeyes at Tight End. Stover had 29 receptions for 366 yards and 5 touchdowns in the 2022 season. Stover was named 3rd Team All-Big Ten Conference. Emeka Egbuka, according to Pro Football Focus, is the #2 returning wide receiver in the country for the 2023 season only behind teammate, Marvin Harrison Jr. In 2022, Egbuka was 2nd Team All-Big Ten Conference with 1,151 receiving yards, 74 receptions and 10 touchdowns. Emeka’s best games cam against Michigan (125 receiving yards) and Georgia in the College Football Playoff Semi-Final (118 receiving yards).

Camp Highlights include; autographs and photos with College Football Players, position group drills, 7 on 7 tournament for skills players and a linemen challenge! Players will be grouped by position group, age and ability. There will be daily training to develop speed, strength and agility.

Coach Bradley and his staff do an incredible job putting on the camp and providing an amazing camp experience for the kids. Last year the energy was unmatched, we’re excited to take this camp to another level. Our mission is to help inspire and develop young campers to meet their goals”. Byrd continued, “Sports are a big part of inspiring kids, getting to rub shoulders with players who have made it, some of their favorite players, is a unique opportunity.”

All campers will receive a Next Gen Camp t-shirt. There will be a 7 on 7 tournament for skill position players and Linemen challenges for all Offensive and Defensive Linemen as well as unique special teams drills for Kicker and Punters.
