The fourth generation of McMahon in WWE could very well be found in Bloomington, Indiana, competing for the NCAA Division I Indiana University football team. Go Hoosiers!

Welcome Declan McMahon.

Hey, he already has a cool pro wrestling/sports entertainment name with that important surname to boot.

Declan, son of Shane McMahon, is a red-shirt freshman running back for Indiana University.

Here is my video interview with Indiana University football player and Kelley School of Business business management major Declan McMahon. He also has interest in sports media & broadcasting.

Above, Declan talks WWE, Pops, Brothers, Shane McMahon, Football, IU, Poly Prep, Mom, Italian Food, Mean Street Posse and more.

About Declan McMahon

A graduate of Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, Declan McMahon played quarterback in high school, before moving to running back in college.

Declan loves football as well as pro wrestling/sports entertainment (whatever terminology preferred when noting WWE). He’s born into it.

Declan’s father is Shane McMahon, who delivered some memorable moves and matches with WWE. Shane also spent time working behind the scenes in the family business. Declan’s aunt is Stephanie McMahon, who was involved in storylines on camera in WWE and worked tremendously behind the scenes. Declan’s great grandfather (Shane’s grandfather) is Vince McMahon Sr., the founder of Capitol Wrestling Corporation (which became WWWF and later WWF), which is now known as WWE. Declan’s grandmother Linda (Shane’s mom) was on WWE TV on rare occasions; she spent much of her time behind the scenes in the corporation. His grandfather (Shane’s dad) is Vince McMahon Jr., who’s done commentary for the company, been involved in on-screen storylines and led the company (behind the scenes as its CEO/Chairman) to great heights -- nationally, internationally, financially.

What does Declan call Mr. McMahon?

”Pops”

Declan is eager to get involved in the company. He is a bright kid, understanding what it takes to be a WWE Superstar and the process of building a brand, an empire. He still has much to learn, but the foundation is set.

Football is also a next level pursuit, if possible. Whether it’s in front of the camera of something behind it, Declan will be ready for it.

BTW, he already has a cool wrestling name. His name emanates from his Irish roots on his father’s side. (Declan: The most blessed Bishop Declan of the most noble race of the kings of Ireland). His mother, Marissa Mazzola, provides the Italian lineage, and she and those on her side of the family tree make some good Italian food. Mom is also very vocal on the sidelines, cheering for her boys.

Yes, Declan also has two younger athletic brothers. Yukon is a star football player, too, at Poly Prep, and someone to watch, and youngest brother Rogan is the biggest (size wise) of the McMahon boys.

Declan, a Poly Prep Blue Devil, considered the college version of the Blue Devil, Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, but he opted for IU, a Hoosier, because of Coach Tom Allen and the IU football culture and passion.

Of course, Declan watched the basketball movie “Hoosiers,” and some of his IU teammates are into WWE. Maybe a faction forming from that ensemble upon graduation, a Mean Street Posse 2.0. Ut oh.

Once (or twice) sporting a crimson mask in epic battles with Kurt Angle and Steve Blackman, now Shane sports a different kind of crimson, the crimson gear, wear of Indiana University football. Mom, too.
