Neymar savagely roasts Paris Saint-Germain after historic comeback win

Neymar isn't just a fantastic soccer player — he also knows how to add insult to injury.

After assisting on the winning goal to complete a historic FC Barcelona comeback victory over Paris Saint-Germain in Europe's top soccer competition Wednesday, the Brazilian star used social media to rub some salt in the gaping wound.

Our story actually starts back in February, when Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-0 in Paris in the first leg of their Champions League matchup. After that match, Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot posted an Instagram photo of himself and teammate Layvin Kurzawa. In the shot, Kurzawa holds up the peace sign while Rabiot holds up four fingers to signify the whooping his team had just put on Barcelona.

Little did Rabiot know then, but the post would come back to haunt him this week.

Now fast forward to Wednesday. Barcelona did what seemed impossible in the second leg of its match with Paris Saint-Germain, blowing out the French side 6-1. That result gave Barcelona a 6-5 aggregate victory and eliminated Paris Saint-Germain from the tournament.

Moreover, it was the biggest comeback in Champions League history and a collapse that will haunt Paris Saint-Germain for years to come.

Which is what makes Neymar's post-game Instagram post so hilarious.

That's a screenshot of Rabiot's photo from February, but overlaid with laughing emojis and a bit of arithmetic pointing out that the two Paris Saint-Germain players actually seemed to be predicting Barcelona's six-goal outburst to come.

Ouch. Very ouch.
