NFL announces start of offseason program, Jaguars slated to start April 17

The NFL announced the start of every team’s offseason program on Friday. Jacksonville is slated to begin on April 17, meaning players can officially workout with the team beginning that date.

It’ll be the first chance for the team to officially get a glimpse of returning players like quarterback Trevor Lawrence or new acquisitions like wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

It will also be the first taste that newly signed free agents or rookies will get with the club.
