Six games.
That is the suspension length for Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, as ruled by former U.S. District Court Judge Sue Robinson.
Six games is the baseline for suspension in the NFL's new personal conduct policy for violations involving assault, battery, domestic violence or sexual assault. A second offense of the personal conduct policy will result in banishment from the NFL.
On Monday morning, Watson settled three more civil lawsuits against him. Twenty-four women filed lawsuits in against Watson in total. He's settled all but one.

In Watson's absence, the Browns are expected to turn to backup Jacoby Brissett for the six-game stretch that will see the team play two home games and four on the road.
Immediately after the news of Watson's suspension came out, "Cleveland Browns" and "Only 6" were trending on Twitter. Suffice to say, plenty of people have thoughts. Here's a look at some of them:
The NFL is a joke
The NFL is an absolute joke.
Calvin Ridley is suspended for a whole season for betting.
Josh Gordon was suspended multiple seasons for smoking weed.
But Watson gets only 6 games with 24 civil lawsuits against him.

The @NFL better cancel all that breast cancer stuff they do, just stop pretending they care about women. The Deshaun Watson ruling is a gross injustice.

Sexual assault is a joke to the NFL
Only 6 games?? The NFL sucks. Sexual assault is a joke to them.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley got a year for gambling, but Deshaun Watson gets only six games?

Calvin Ridley gets suspended a whole year and Deshaun Watson gets 6 games.. Where is the justice? NFL should be ashamed

Does this clear Deshaun Watson of guilt?
People are acting like Watson is cleared of guilt.
She stated there was a “pattern of egregious behavior” and he cannot receive massages outside the teams control. Lmaooooo what’s that tell you?— Browns Time (@DevotedBrownie) August 1, 2022
Deshaun Watson returning for Browns vs. Ravens in Week 7 no coincidence
Just saying, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that DeShaun Watson returns against the #Ravens. Most likely one of the biggest games of the year. The NFLs gotta make that money too… pathetic.

Is the NFL's suspension of Deshaun Watson a slap on the wrist?

Deshaun Watson's suspension length similar to Ezekiel Elliott's suspension
Deshaun got suspended the same amount for sexually assaulting over 2 dozen women as Zeke got for.... pushing a security guard? #NFL

Was there an appropriate length of Deshaun Watson's suspension?
Idk what the appropriate amount of games was for DeShaun tbh. Had to give him something for conduct detrimental.. and for being reckless with that many people massaging him .

Is Browns backup QB Jacoby Brissett actually better than Deshaun Watson?
In all fairness Jacoby Brissett is probably better than Deshaun Watson.
