NFL playoff picture Week 12: NFC, AFC postseason races tighten
The NFC and AFC playoff races are shaping up to be very intriguing down the stretch of the NFL regular season.
In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles still hold the No. 1 position in the standings, but a lot is up in the air as teams jockey for division titles and playoff berths.
The AFC has seven teams with either three or four losses after the 8-2 Kansas City Chiefs, setting up a potentially crazy finish in the weeks ahead.
The top seed in each conference gets that bye in the wild card round of the NFL postseason and the other division winners get the No. 2 through No. 4 seeds.
The No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7 seeds go to the non-division winners with the best records.
Here's how the NFC and AFC playoffs would look if the postseason began after Week 11.
