NFL playoff picture Week 13: NFC East a beast with four teams in postseason position

The NFC East is a beast in the 2022 NFL season.

If the NFL playoffs were to begin after Week 12, all four teams from the division would be in the postseason.

The top seed in each conference gets that bye in the wild card round of the NFL postseason and the other division winners get the No. 2 through No. 4 seeds.

The No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7 seeds go to the non-division winners with the best records.

NFL Week 13 odds: Bills vs. Patriots | Steelers vs. Falcons | Broncos vs. Ravens | Packers vs. Bears | Jaguars vs. Lions | Browns vs. Texans | Jets vs. Vikings | Commanders vs. Giants | Titans vs. Eagles | Seahawks vs. Rams | Dolphins vs. 49ers | Chiefs vs. Bengals | Chargers vs. Raiders | Colts vs. Cowboys | Saints vs. Buccaneers

The Philadelphia Eagles currently lead the NFC East and the NFC with a 10-1 record, making them the No. 1 seed entering NFL Week 13.

The 8-3 Dallas Cowboys would be the first wild-card team (No. 5 seed), with the 7-4 New York Giants the second (No. 6 seed) and the 7-5 Washington Commanders (No. 7 seed) the third.

Here's how the NFC and AFC playoffs would look if the postseason began after NFL Week 12.
