NFL running back Aaron Jones mourns grandmother: 'I know you and Pops had a smile'

The grandmother of NFL running back Aaron Jones has died.

In an Instagram story posted Wednesday afternoon, Jones said: "Rest in paradise, Grandma. I know you and Pops had a smile seeing each other."

Jones lost his father, Alvin Jones Sr., to COVID-19 in the offseason. He dedicated the 2021 season to his dad.

The fifth-round pick out of UTEP finished the regular season with 799 rushing yards for the Green Bay Packers. He also completed the regular season with four rushing and six receiving touchdowns.
