DAMON AMENDOLARA: He's going to own 81%, the final 19% coming from his sister Michelle and his mother Arlette. Wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-what? Dan Snyder's mom owns a piece of Washington? Well, hell, why shouldn't she have been in charge of this organization?

My guess is it couldn't have gone worse. Is Arlette Snyder also gonna keep Bruce Allen employed for 15 years? Is she also going to hire Joe Gibbs back? Is she also going to promote Jim Zorn to head coach?

Is she also going to force the team to draft Dwayne Haskins? Is she also going to sign Deion Sanders at 50 years old? Is she also going to allow the RG3 and Mike Shanahan relationship to sour and divorce? Is she also going to hire Jay Gruden, then fire Jay Gruden in the most public spectacle ever?

Is she also going to be, essentially, the worst owner that we've ever seen, or one of them, in modern NFL history? Because my guess is it could not have been worse. Give Arlette Snyder the keys to this franchise.

Who knew? Dan Snyder's mom owns 6% of Washington, and his sister owns another 12. So once this purchase goes through, it's all Snyders, all the time, at FedEx Field. Woof.

I got to tell you, I feel for you, Washington Football fan. I feel for you because now it looks like that little bright spot on the horizon that perhaps is coming closer and closer and closer has closed up and moved entirely away.

The fact is Dan Snyder's terrible, really terrible. He has shown over 20 years to be a terrible football owner. He's a bully. He is an egomaniac. He's stuck in the past. He has employed terrible people.

He is frivolous. He is ridiculous. And he is vindictive. He has created the worst culture in the NFL, arguably, and you don't have to track back that far to remember when Washington was a model organization.
