NFL Week 7 picks: No experts taking Lions to upset Rams

Needless to say, there isn’t much confidence in the Lions heading into their Week 7 game against the Rams. Not only is the spread the second-largest of the week, but experts also aren’t buying into the possibility of them pulling off the upset over the Rams.

According to NFL Pick Watch, not a single expert is picking the Lions to beat Los Angeles. Everyone is taking the Rams, which makes them one of two teams where every expert is predicting the same result; 100% are also taking the Cardinals to beat the Texans.

Accounting for the spread changes things a bit. Of the experts who have submitted picks against the spread, 56% are taking the Rams to cover the 16-point margin. The Rams are 4-2 against the spread this season, while the Lions are 3-3.

The Rams have a great chance to improve their record to 6-1 with a win on Sunday, which would be their third straight after beating the Seahawks and crushing the Giants the last two weeks. They’re unlikely to catch the Cardinals this week, however, with Arizona facing the lowly Texans.
