DAVE BRIGGS: Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will be suspended for 11 games and fined $5 million, the biggest player fine ever, after the NFL and NFL Players Association reached a settlement regarding Watson's alleged sexual misconduct against more than two dozen women during massage sessions.

Watson, issuing a statement after the news, came down saying, in part, "I'm grateful that the disciplinary process has ended and extremely appreciative of the tremendous support I have received throughout my short time with the Browns organization. I apologize once again for any pain this situation has caused."

Watson, who later told reporters he continues to quote, "stand on my innocence" settled 23 of 24 civil lawsuits filed by the women. And, by the way, first game back, against the Houston Texans.
