The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade and placed the power to regulate abortion with the states. What should state lawmakers do regarding abortion laws?

We have passed legislation in New Hampshire. That forbids abortion after 24 weeks of pregnancy, with a few exceptions, I supported this law, I believe we have taken the appropriate action.

The state's residents and businesses face many economic challenges, including high prices for electricity and fuel, a labor shortage, a lack of affordable housing and rising prices due to inflation. How would you address these challenges?

The most important change would be to throw the Democrats that caused these problems out of office.

What else do you want voters to know about you or your policy positions before the election on Nov. 8?

I have spent my decades in office as a budget hawk. When I chaired the Finance Committee in 2011, after 4 years in which the Democrats had increased the state budget 25%; I was told to cut the budget 10%. With some expert help, the committee accomplished that. I am one of the champions of the Legislative Budget Assistant, and his Audit staff. These people have helped us to find the areas where we can save money in the budget. I follow up on their leads. Public education, like all monopolies, loses sight of their mission, in concentrating on growing their establishment and stopping all competition. I have worked hard to enable charter schools, and programs that enable alternates for the student not thriving in the traditional public schools.
