NH police: Car in fatal crash on I-95 in Greenland hit by tractor-trailer
GREENLAND — The driver of a sedan was killed in a crash that involved a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 northbound late Monday night, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The identity of the person who died is being withheld pending notification of family, according to police. He was the sole occupant of the sedan. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, police said.
The sedan "was possibly parked in the right travel lane of the highway with its lights on when it was struck by the tractor-trailer" by mile marker 11, police stated, citing a preliminary investigation. The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m.
Neither speed nor alcohol are suspected as factors in the crash, police said. No charges were immediately filed. The investigation remained ongoing, police said.
The right two lanes of I-95 north in Greenland were closed for several hours while the crash was being investigated.

State Police said they were assisted by the Greenland Police Department and emergency medical personnel from the Greenland Fire Department.
