NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL).
There are no Yahoo games on Sunday.

There are two games in the NHL Sunday.
Elias Lindholm (Calgary) - C - $6,800 (FanDuel), $6,400 (Draft Kings)
There are only two games on the schedule and Lindholm is nicely priced at center. He has not scored in his last two games but had five goals in his previous five games, giving him 17 goals and 43 points in 51 contests. Playing between Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau really helps but Lindholm has been a big sparkplug for the Flames since arriving from Carolina three seasons ago.
Alex DeBrincat (Chicago) - W - $7,500 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings)
What a comeback season for the young winger as he struggled in 2019-20 with only 18 goals and 45 points in 70 games after scoring 41 times the previous season. This season he has 29 goals and 52 points in 50 games, re-establishing himself as one of the top goal-scorers in the NHL. He is currently fifth in goals, behind only Auston Matthews, Connor McDavid, Mikko Rantanen and Leon Draisaitl.
Joe Pavelski (Dallas) -W- $7,600 (Fan Duel), $6,400 (Draft Kings)
Pavelski is another player who has come back from a poor 2019-20 campaign to star this season. Pavelski has 24 goals and 50 points with a plus-24 rating in 54 games after a 14 goal, 31-point season in 70 games last season. Pavelski is coming off a four-point game on Friday and still has a couple of games against the Blackhawks in Chicago to improve and move into the top-20 on the NHL points leaderboard.
Bargain Bin: Josh Norris (Ottawa) - C - $4,900 (FanDuel), $5,100 (Draft Kings), $18 (Yahoo) Roope Hintz (Dallas) – C - $6,700 (FanDuel), $6,700 (Draft Kings), Connor Brown (Ottawa) – W - $5,100 (FanDuel) $4,700 (DraftKings), Tim Stutzle (Ottawa) – W - $4,100 (FanDuel), $4,000 (Draft Kings)
Mark Giordano (Calgary) - $6,300 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings)
Giordano has not picked up a point in six games, but there is not a lot to choose from on the blueline Sunday. He still has eight goals and 23 points this season and has two goals and five points in eight games against their Sunday opponents, the Ottawa Senators.
Victor Mete (Ottawa) - $3,500 (FanDuel), $2,500 (DraftKings)
Mete has a goal and an assist in his last five games with Ottawa and is getting a lot more playing time than he did when he was with Montreal at the start of the season. Mete is an inexpensive play which will enable DFS players to fill out their roster.
Artyom Zub (Ottawa) - $3,500 (FanDuel), $2,900 (DraftKings), Connor Murphy (Chicago) - $4,300 (FanDuel), $5,200 (DraftKings)
Anton Forsberg (Ottawa) - $7,400 (FanDuel), $6,800 (DraftKings)
The Senators have been red-hot of late as they are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. All four teams playing Sunday will not make the playoffs although Calgary has not been officially eliminated. Ottawa looks to be the likeliest team to win Sunday. Forsberg is 3-3-1 with a 2.87 GAA and a .917 save percentage this season.
Other plays: Kevin Lankinen (Chicago) - $7,000 (FanDuel), $7,300 (Draft Kings)
