Niceville and Valparaiso celebrate Christmas with parade Saturday

Thousands turned out under clear skies Saturday morning for the Niceville Valparaiso Community Christmas Parade. The parade was sponsored by the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club and this year’s theme was “Serve to Change Lives.”

Parade participants started at the intersection of John Sims Parkway and Palm Boulevard, traveled east to Partin Drive and marched north past the judge’s station set up in front of Ruckel Middle School.
