Nick Cannon doesn’t mind being in on the joke regarding his expanding family tree.

The 42-year-old host of “The Masked Singer,” who has fathered a dozen children with six different women to date, posted cryptic messages on Tuesday that he was joining forces with friend Kevin Hart for a game show titled “Who’s Having My Baby? with Nick Cannon.”

“We’re expecting… a new show on E!” read captions on Cannon’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, further teasing that “#WhosHavingMyBaby premieres this spring” and will be hosted by Hart.

The baby-making machine’s announcement of the project went viral and set the Twitterverse ablaze. But it all turned out to be a big prank.

In fact, the game show was a promotion of a real series that Cannon and Hart are executive producing and hosting called “Celebrity Prank Wars.” The funnymen are close friends who have publicly clowned one another throughout their various projects in recent years.

“OK so…'Who’s Having My Baby?’ was a prank, but #CelebrityPrankWars is our real show!” Cannon tweeted.

Set to premiere April 6 on E!, the series is described as “an all-out war as one celebrity pranks another, and the payback begins.”

Taraji P. Henson, Tiffany Haddish, Anthony Anderson, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Fantasia, Lil Jon, Joel McHale, Chance the Rapper, and Cannon’s “Masked Singer” co-star Robin Thicke were announced as participants of “Celebrity Prank Wars.”
