Nick Cannon, who has gained notoriety for fathering 12 children with six women, has revealed he’s sad about one that got away.

In a new interview, “The Masked Singer” host revealed that his former girlfriend and co-star Christina Milian is one particular ex he wishes would have been among his growing list of baby mamas.

Milian starred with Cannon in the 2003 teen comedy “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.” After a two-year romance, the couple split in the mid-’00s. The Latina actress and singer went on to briefly marry hip hop musician The-Dream, with whom she shares a daughter. She also has two children with her current husband, French R&B singer M. Pokora.

Cannon shared his thoughts about his former flame in a new interview with The Shade Room’s Thembi Mawema.

“If I say this, I know it’s gonna go viral,” he began. “But when Christina Milian and I were doing ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing,’ I remember when I found out she was pregnant… I was like, ‘Dang, man.’”

“But I was so happy for her. I remember we was kids in love early on, and so we talked about that, but to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given.”

The “Wild-N-Out” creator’s current brood includes 12 children between the ages of 3 months and 11 years, including twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with pop diva Mariah Carey.

Cannon, 42, is in on the jokes regarding his expanding family tree. In 2021, during an interview with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live,” he joked that his favorite baby mama was “the next one.” Earlier this month, he and his best friend, Kevin Hart, made a public prank with the announcement of a fake game show titled “Who’s Having My Baby?
