Nick Carter Fights Back Tears as Backstreet Boys Pay Tribute to Brother Aaron Carter
The Backstreet Boys paid tribute to Aaron Carter, the younger brother of band member Nick Carter, at a show in London on Sunday night, November 6.
Footage by Darren Gale shows band member Kevin Richardson speaking to the crowd. “We lost one of our family members yesterday,” Richardson said.
As Richardson was speaking Nick Carter is seen to be fighting back tears as his other band members comfort him.
Aaron Carter was reportedly found dead at his southern California home on November 5. He was 34.
Nick Carter took to Twitter on Sunday to say his heart was “broken” at the news.
“Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed,” Carter said.
“Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you baby brother.” Credit: Darren Gale via Storyful
