The Cleveland Browns have a big stretch of games the next two weeks starting with the Pittsburgh Steelers at home on Halloween. The Browns have been dealing with a myriad of injuries throughout the season but are starting to get some good news.

Last week, Jedrick Wills and Jarvis Landry returned to the lineup. Wills helped open big holes for D’Ernest Johnson while Landry had five receptions to help Case Keenum.

While Keenum is likely to continue to start in place of Baker Mayfield in Week 8, Johnson may be returning to a backup role in another positive for the team.

After a few days off from their Week 7 victory on Thursday Night Football, Cleveland returned to practice on Monday. Starter Nick Chubb, after missing two games, was able to participate in practice. With Kareem Hunt on injured reserve, Chubb’s return would give the Browns a one-two punch of Chubb and Johnson.

Not only did Chubb return but right tackle Jack Conklin, also out for two straight games, was also able to participate on Monday.

We will monitor the team’s injury report as the week goes on but practicing this early in the week is a good sign for both players availability against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
