Nicki Minaj brings her mom on stage to celebrate BET Hip-Hop Award win

Nicki Minaj took home the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist trophy at Sunday's BET Awards, when she also brought a piece of home to the stage.
The rapper escorted her mother to the podium, where Minaj demonstrated some gratitude to the woman who brought her into this world.
"I just wanted to really bring my mommy up, because I always talk about my mommy and this is the first time the world is getting to see her," the "Anaconda" songstress said. "And mommy, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for me, I love you so much."

Mommy returned the sweet sentiment.
Minaj closed her moment by shouting out her fellow nominees, the fans online and her "Pinkprint" collaborators — but clearly the Sunday following Father's Day was all about mom.
