Nicki Minaj fans will have to wait a bit longer for her new album.

The “Anaconda” rapper, 40, took to Twitter Thursday to announce that her fifth studio album will no longer drop on Oct. 20, as previously announced, but on Nov. 17.

“Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit,” said Minaj. “Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT.”

To help ease the pain for fans, and avoid having “to get cussed out,” Minaj offered “a tiny SIP of some more album tea.”

The newest addition to her studio discography will be named, “Pink Friday 2.″ It’s a clear nod to — and maybe even continuation of — her debut album, 2010′s “Pink Friday.”

“I love you guys so much,” continued Minaj. “I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album.”

Though she hasn’t released an album since 2018′s “Queen,” Minaj has still put out new music in recent years. “Barbie World,” a collaboration with Ice Spice on the soundtrack for the highly anticipated “Barbie” film out next month, dropped last week.

The “Super Bass” singer also confirmed that the tour to promote “Pink Friday 2″ will begin in early 2024.
