Nicole Kidman channels Catwoman as she steps out in sunglasses at Paris Fashion Week

Nicole Kidman channelled Catwoman as she left a Balenciaga fitting in oversized sunglasses during Paris Fashion Week.

The 55-year-old actress made the fashion statement following her session with the designer brand.

Nicole kept the rest of her outfit pretty low-key, wearing a black long-sleeved bodysuit with a matching handbag and a slouchy pair of light blue jeans, which she teamed with black pointy pumps.

The Hollywood star brought some glamour as she accessorised her look with several bracelets and necklaces – but the jewellery couldn’t distract attention away from her most striking accessory of all, perched across her eyes.

Designed by Balenciaga, the eccentric sunglasses are already a favoured addition for style queen Kim Kardashian, who has been seen rocking the dramatic pair several times in the past few months while stepping out.

It didn’t take long for fans to liken Kidman’s look to that of actress Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman, which appeared in 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises, as the character was seen in the film sporting a black eye mask not too dissimilar from the actress’ sunglasses.

Kidman’s Paris fitting came before Balenciaga showcased its 51^st Couture Collection in a fashion show in the French capital.

The designer brand’s famous muse, Kardashian, 41, flew into the city along with the actress this week. The pair and Dua Lipa closed the show.
