Nine Perfect Strangers actress Nicole Kidman had fans doing double takes when she made an appearance at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala, and there aren't enough fire emojis for her look!
The starlet dazzled in a warm tone, sequin dress, and a curly hairdo that is F-I-E-R-C-E. We're used to seeing the actress with straight and wavy hair, but the flowing curls remind us a lot of her character on The Undoing. She shared her stunning look on Instagram and captioned her series of photos with: "It was an honor to be included last night ✨ #AcademyMuseumGala"
Known to have a strong magnetism on and off the screen, we can't get enough of Nicole's curly haired look, and fans took notice too. People left sweet comments on her Instagram like "You looked stunning! I love when you embrace the curls! You're looking better than ever!," "Magic, " and SO many fire emojis.
Although her wavy locks look stunning, some people may be surprised to know that those coils are her natural hair texture. We so often see her in roles where her character has straight or wavy tresses, like in Big Little Lies and Bombshell. In an interview with People the actress expressed how she's constantly having her hair styled for work so when she has the chance to rock her natural curls, she takes advantage of it. "I have naturally curly hair that's constantly being styled when I'm working. So when I'm not working, I love saturating it in this nourishing oil and leaving it alone."
Let's just say that the 54-year-old actress' curly locks were a pleasant blast to the past. Remember her Days of Thunder era? Back when she met ex-husband Tom Cruise, Nicole was a vision! Not much has changed...well, except her husband.
We were definitely glad to see her curls get the comeback they deserved on the silver screen in HBO's The Undoing and fingers crossed that we can see more of Nicole's natural tresses in future projects!
