Nicole Nichols Legacy Auto Show to fund scholarships: Group seeks vendors, sponsors

Feb. 5—The Nicole Nichols Legacy Auto Show, set for March 16, will benefit working adults who want to pursue health care education.

The fourth annual Legacy Auto Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the third Saturday in March at the Stephens County Fair and Expo Center.

In honor of Nicole Nichols, family and friends created the benefit to raise money for working adults who want to further their education in the medical field.

On Feb. 12, 2021 Nichols lost her battle with rare Gist tumors, leaving a legacy of accomplishments.

Aubrey Spivey, president of the Nicole Nichols Legacy Foundation and organizer, said Nichols was the most giving person she has ever known, and the last three events held in her honor were a great success.

Three years ago, the legacy foundation created a way for those who have a passion for the medical field and want to pursue or continue their education to apply for a scholarship in honor of Nichols.

Spivey said this year they will partner with Hustlin' Honeys Vendor Show to host a vendor sale and mini events.

According to Spivey, this past year, they presented an adult and an intern scholarship.

"I cannot be more excited about this year's coming event," she said.

Aside from partnering with Huslin' Honeys, Spivey said they will also partner with Scotty's Automotive.

She said Scotty's Automotive will host the car show, as well as provide a judging panel and show coordination.

The auto show registration will begin at 9 a.m. and run until noon, awards will be given at 2 p.m. and the vendor show will begin at 9 a.m as well and run until 2 p.m.

The Nicole Nichols Legacy Scholarship group is seeking sponsorships at silver, gold and platinum levels.

A silver sponsorship consists of a microphone mention at all events, a logo on a banner and one two-person team entry to the annual golf scramble for $250. A gold sponsorship will include all silver benefits and a "proud to sponsor" logo on a banner, as well as two teams of two people for the golf scramble for $500. A platinum sponsor will bring all the gold benefits, as well as three teams of two people for the golf scramble and a table for five at the scholarship presentation dinner for $1,000.

Additional donations can be made to the Nicole Nichols Legacy Foundation by way of BancFirst.
